Six Apart, the company behind the famous TypePad blog hosting service and Movable Type blog software, announced today two new blogging products for business. The two products are TypePad Business Class and Movable Type Enterprise.

The first product, TypePad Business Class, is a new service designed specifically to meet the integration, security, control and management needs of enterprises and large organizations.

Business Class I includes 4 GB storage, 40 GB bandwidth per month at $89.95 per blog per month. Business Class II includes 8 GB storage, 70 GB bandwidth per month at $124.95 per blog per month.

The second new product, Movable Type Enterprise, was announced for the Japanese market and is in beta tests with several companies in the US. Movable Type Enterprise is a server-based blogging platform used behind a company’s firewall and is ideal for companies looking for secure enterprise-wide deployments, advanced configuration and integration with existing enterprise systems.

MT Enterprise supports LDAP, Oracle database and most open source database programs with hundreds of plugins.
