Best Blog Goals: Comprehensive and Entertaining

The blogging goals project at Problogger finally ends today. There were 130 submissions in total. Again thanks to Darren for the hard work, not just listing them all but actually reading them along the way.
Regarding my favorite, to no surprise is My Digital Photography School Goals by Darren Rowse.
For one, I think he gives the most comprehensive look through one of his current blog project. Digital Photography School blog was started in April this year and the progress has been nothing but amazing.
The goals section is sort of a business plan for bloggers. Yes, as a blogger we don’t need such a hundred page business plan, although you can have one if you insist. Having actionable goals like this and adjust them accordingly (being flexible) is the thing that counts.
Obviously those come only with experiences and knowledge.
Another important thing you could learn form the post is being persistent. Networking is necessary to extend your reach. The success of the newly launched blog more or less depends on the name attached to it. Getting links from Lifehacker, Gizmodo and Engadget is a very good start.
As I commented in the blog, if you can reach this level, virtually any project would become success easier than the first one you jumped into. You can leverage so many things, especially if you network, if you start building it now. Even if you launch a completely new blog in an entirely new niche, you can take advantage of the experience and popularity.
Of course, at the end of the day, you have to impress on the quality of content before you link to it.
Go ahead and read the winner.
